I'm so sorry, everyone.
Our livestream was a disaster because of me...
No, it's not your fault, Shizuku!
Just look at your dancing! You were perfect!
Your conversation was interesting too as usual...!
As usual...
But my usual self isn't good enough...
Huh?
I'm sorry I wasn't able to support you like I said I would, Shizuku. I guess it's not as easy as I thought...
I should've been more mindful of just how strong your Cheerful*Days image still is...
What do you mean by that?
My fans still have the same impression of me from when I was in Cheerful*Days.
Which is what, exactly...?
The beautiful idol who can do anything. The one everyone looks up to. That's the Shizuku Hinomori of Cheerful*Days.
Oh...
So many people put in a lot of effort to help me maintain that image.
They gave me acting lessons, edited my videos...
I was taught how to be the perfect idol in front of my fans.
...
The fans who have been supporting me since my time in Cheerful*Days are expecting to see that version of me.
Which is why...
I'm not supposed to ruin that image.
I'm not supposed to be my usual self.
Shizuku...
I'm so sorry, everyone.
Please... Don't apologize, Shizuku...
Airi and I also have public images that were cultivated with our previous groups.
So there's likely going to be a gap in the way our fans see us now, but there isn't really much we can do about that.
That's why I figured it would be for the best if we could try to establish a new image little by little as MORE MORE JUMP!
But I didn't expect your fans' perception of you to be so stuck in stone...
This is just as much my fault for not properly taking these sorts of risks into account when we were planning things out...
...
We're gonna have to come up with some way of dealing with this...
When you were in Cheerful*Days, your agency and the television staff were the ones who decided what your image would be, right?
Yes. Whenever I said something that didn't quite match the image they wanted me to have, they would edit it out of the final cut.
I even had scripts for concerts, and they also made it so the other members would do most of the talking.
Having the rest of us do the talking would be difficult. It works for a big group like Cheerful*Days, but it'd feel wrong if we tried doing it with only the four of us.
But video editing might be doable...
I've never tried it before, so I doubt I can do as good a job as a professional, but I'll learn what I can before our next video.
But if we do that, it'll mean no more livestreams...
...
(If we edit each video, we may be able to protect my image...)
(But that also limits the ways MORE MORE JUMP! can reach its fans.)
(Of course, we can still reach plenty of fans even without doing livestreams but...)
<I wanna see your dance practice!>
<I can't wait!>
<Good luck!>
(I feel like the current plan is the best way to spread hope and show the fans who we are now.)
(So... I have to make a decision.)
(Protect the fans' image of Shizuku Hinomori, or go with MORE MORE JUMP!'s best option for spreading hope to the fans...)
...
I'm sorry...
May I have some time to think this over?
I... I promise to find the answer.
Of course. We'll be waiting...
Shizuku...
