Class is adjourned!
Finally... Time for lunch.
I'm starving. Let's eat together!
Phew... Lunchtime, lunchtime...
Kohane!
Let's have lunch together♪
Hi, Minori! Sure!
Huh...?
Shiho? You're not with Ichika and the others today?
No, they're all busy with committee stuff today.
Oh, okay.
That's actually sort of nice since it's been a little while since we last had lunch together.
I know, right?
We can have a special classroom lunch today!
As in just having lunch in class?
It's special because you're here, Shiho!
Let's put our desks together and...
Let's eat!
Let's eat.
Oh, Shiho, your Salisbury steaks look so yummy.
She's right!
Are these homemade, not frozen...?!
Uh... Yeah...
My mom makes these pretty often.
She apparently wants to make sure I have plenty to eat since I'm always busy with the band and stuff.
Hehe. Your mom sounds like such a nice person.
Yeah, she really is.
By the way, how's practice been going for you two lately?
Huh? Lately?
Yeah. I'm kinda curious as to what kind of stuff you guys all practice.
Take the Fan Festival for example. Remember how you met up with Kohane's group to practice singing, Minori?
Ichika even talked about how that practice really opened her eyes.
So I'm wondering if there are any good drills or tips you could tell me about.
Good drills...?
Hmm... Do you have any ideas?
Oh, maybe...
My team is usually at its best when we have the same image or ideas in mind.
The same image?
Yeah. We started working on this song and began wondering how we could capture the “serenity of a forest” so to speak.
And it turned out that one of our teammates had never been to an actual forest before, which sort of kept us from syncing right.
So we decided to go camping in a forest to fix that. As a result, we were able to sing this song really well because we all had the same image in our heads.
I see...
That is a pretty good idea.
We watched a DVD of this famous band's concert together the other day and it really helped us get in sync.
That must've also been because it gave us such a clear picture of what we needed to do.
Yeah, we usually work on dances while watching footage for a show as a reference and it always helps us get in sync!
Is that true...?!
Hehe. It's like we all arrived at the same solution. Talk about a coincidence.
It probably means having a clear picture of what you want to do or become is just that important.
What I want to become...?
That's easy! A great idol, just like Haruka!
That's just you, Minori.
I was talking about what each of our groups are striving to become.
Oh, right!
Hehe...
Hehe.
Oh, that reminds me.
You guys are trying to surpass that one event... RAD WEEKEND, right?
Does that mean you watch videos of that event as a team?
Oh...
Um... There aren't any videos out there.
Really?
Yeah. I tried asking An and the others a while back...
Yeah...
There aren't any as far as I know.
Not even one?
Yeah.
No cameras were allowed during RAD WEEKEND.
I see...
That's really unfortunate.
To be fair, there probably wouldn't be any videos left regardless.
Wait, what do you mean?
Based on what Akito's told me...
Nobody there would've been taking pictures or videos.
Yeah, the whole place was nuts.
They were all probably too immersed or focused on the show to record anything.
Since everybody has smartphones now, there's usually some kind of evidence out there showing that an event like that happened.
But that's not the case for this one.
It's part of why it's become such a legendary event.
I see...
(So there's no way for me to see what happened...)
What?! Is that really true?!
That's really unfortunate.
It is...
But it also tells me that it was just that incredible.
But...!
Not being able to see it just makes you want to see it more, right?!
You're right...
(I was really hoping to see what An and Shinonome experienced, but I guess there really isn't anything I can do about it...)
(But...)
