“Thank you so much for putting on a solo show! I'm so happy to have been your fan and see you all come this far!”
“I'm really looking forward to your next show! Please keep up the amazing work!”
All of these letters are so heartwarming. It's really nice to see that everyone genuinely enjoyed our show...
But I wasn't expecting that we'd receive this many... Thank goodness we decided to use an anonymous forwarding service.
Still, it's always nice to receive these...
Each person's handwriting is like an expression of their true feelings. Not only that...
Every envelope's really unique and cute.
The one covered in cat stickers must be for Airi, and this one's...
*Gasp*
A limited-edition snow Phenny...!
Did they do this just for me?
I'll try opening it...
“Dear MMJ,
Congratulations on a successful solo show! I couldn't believe what I witnessed! I honestly thought I was dreaming!”
“I've actually been a big fan since when you were still in ASRUN. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to go to any shows since I was still in elementary school.”
“When I entered junior high school, I thought my chance finally came... But you retired before I could, which made me so sad...”
Oh no...
“I'd sort of given up hope until I heard about your solo show. Seeing your dazzling smile in person made me so incredibly happy!”
“Thanks to that, I know that I'm going to be able to do my best tomorrow!”
Doing your best tomorrow...
“You were the reason I started watching MMJ's streams, Haruka, and since I've come to love all of you, being able to see MMJ's first solo show live was beyond exhilarating...”
“I want more and more people to learn about MMJ. Also...”
“My dream now is to see MMJ perform at the Butokan! I can't wait for when you all get your big chance to perform on a big stage!”
The Butokan...
That really is the dream. Not just for idols either. All artists.
Only the best of the best get to perform there, and our fans are hoping that we get to stand on that stage.
I was so overwhelmed the first time I did...
ASRUN becoming popular enough to perform there in front of all those people made me realize just how much support they'd given us until that point...
We were really able to give them hope and believe in a better tomorrow.
I want Minori to experience that moment one day...
But...
There's no way we can right now.
(You only get to perform at the Butokan after going through a judging process that requires artists to have a certain amount of name recognition and skill. And above all else, the ability to fill 15,000 seats.)
(We're a couple of zeroes off since we just managed to put on a show for 700. I suppose the only way for us to get there is to gradually work our way up...)
But is that going to be possible at our current pace...?
Okay, here are the ones I finished reading yesterday.
Thanks, Haruka!
I can't wait to read more letters again today!
Then, Haruka, I'll hand the ones I've finished reading over to you.
They were filled with so many kind words. Some were addressed to you, so I hope you get a chance to go through them.
Hehe. Some of the ones I read were addressed to you, Shizuku. It's always fun to get the letters from your fans since they're so passionate.
Oh, I see...!
I'll be looking forward to reading them.
Still, I really wasn't expecting to get this kind of response. I mean, we got so many letters that we had to split them into piles for each of us to read.
Yeah, this is so amazing...
We've even been getting more emails and DMs than usual.
Yeah.
And on top of all these kind messages...
We've even started receiving offers for work, including interviews for magazines and short radio segments.
I still can't believe it.
I mean, the only offer we received until now was to perform at that elementary school.
I have a feeling that it's because our show was picked up by some online news outlets.
The three of us are idols who left their last groups... In essence, we went off the beaten path and managed to put on a successful solo show without the support of an agency.
That definitely makes for a good headline, but the article itself was a bit fluffed up...
But that article helped increase our name recognition, so I'm very grateful.
Me too!
And since doing our solo show, our subscriber count has been skyrocketing!
It's great that we're getting all this attention now, but...
This is actually a good opportunity for us to think about our roots and decide what we're going to do moving forward.
Now that we've taken the huge step of putting on a solo show, we need to figure out what our next big goal is gonna be... And what we're gonna do to make it happen...
Our next big goal and how to make it happen...
“I want more and more people to learn about MMJ. Also...”
“My dream now is to see MMJ perform at the Butokan! I can't wait for when you all get your big chance to perform on a big stage!”
...
Sorry, would you mind if I fielded that?
Minori?
So, after I got home once our show was done, I searched online to see what people thought of it...
One person said, “I want you girls to do shows everywhere,” and another, “I want more people to learn about you girls.”
Quite a few of our fans also said that in their letters...
Exactly...
Which is why I'm thinking that we should try doing what they're asking...
Let's try performing in all sorts of different places and get people to know that MORE MORE JUMP! is here to stay.
Let's spread and inspire hope in as many people as we can!
As many people as we can...
So, I began thinking about how we could accomplish that...
Which is why I think MORE MORE JUMP! should go on tour!
A tour...!
It doesn't stop there!
Once we've become famous enough to go on tour, I want us to do a show at the Dome.
I want to spread hope to everyone in Japan... Just like how ASRUN did with me when I saw them for the first time!
*Gasp*
Th-That's pretty big talk...!
MORE MORE JUMP! ...at the Dome?!
I mean, that's the dream, but...
I'm not joking!
Seeing so many people smiling during our show filled me with so much joy... And it made me really glad that we never stopped trying.
So, I'm gonna keep trying...
My feelings from before haven't changed. I want to spread hope to everybody we meet.
But...
<They're such an amazing group. I want more people to know about them.>
<They just gotta keep advertising themselves. That should get the ball rolling in terms of their popularity.>
<I know it's easier said than done, but they should do a show at the Dome.>
They all have such high hopes for us...
Our fans are hoping that we'll be able to stand on the biggest stage and spread hope to more and more people!
That's what made me think...
I... I want to...
I want to become the best at spreading hope to others!
...!
So, I want us to seriously try to become idols who are able to perform at Japan's biggest venues, like the Dome...
I want us to become top idols!
(That's right. I also...)
(Back then, I...)
...
Performing at the Dome as top idols, huh...?
Uh...
O-Of course, this is just me talking....
So, I want to hear what you all think!
I understand how you feel, Minori.
And I wouldn't expect any less from you...
Haruka...!
I think I'm right in saying that the three of us also want to spread hope to as many people as possible.
However, going for the top...
I have a feeling that we're going to want to give that more thought given our current situation...
Yeah...
That's a pretty lofty goal since we just finished putting on our first solo show.
Oh...
Right... It just isn't that easy, huh?
I guess moving forward...
Wait, it's already this late?!
We need to get ready for our “Post Solo Show Stream”!
Oh, look at the time...!
Alright, we'll pick this back up some other time. For now, let's get ready!
Minori, Shizuku, you two get the tripod ready! Haruka, you get the phone!
O-Okay, got it.
Shizuku, let's get to work on the tripod!
Okay!
We just need to pull these legs out, yes? Hm? It feels stuck...
No, Shizuku, you're pulling it the wrong way! It's gonna break if you do that!
