(It's a little early, but I think I'll log in now...)
<Hey, K! What's up?>
<Hi, K!>
<Hello...>
<Oh, you're all here already.>
<We were wondering how things went for you and Yuki today.>
<You met the girl who lent you that CD, right?>
<Yes, we got to talk over a nice meal.>
<That's nice. Yuki, you said this girl goes to the same school as you and is also a class representative too?>
<Yes...>
<What was she like?>
<Like any other girl, I think.>
<Oh, she was there with someone else I know too. They've apparently been friends since childhood and are in a band together now.>
<A band?! Whoa, that's so cool!>
<Does that mean you got to talk a lot about music with them?>
<We did. They showed quite a bit of interest in how we make our songs and videos.>
<Yes. We also talked about Miku songs and our hair.>
<Your hair?>
<Hehe. All four of us just happened to have long or medium-length hair...>
<So we talked a little about what we've experienced as a result of having this kind of hair.>
<What?! That sounds like fun!
Can you give us an example?>
<Let's see... Getting your hair stuck in a seat's backing or sitting on it by accident immediately comes to mind...>
<Yeah, and your head gets yanked really hard!>
<Yes, exactly.>
<And how your hair might end up brushing the floor while trying to pick something up.>
<Haha! Yeah, totally!>
<Or how it can get stuck on a zipper when you're wearing sweats...>
<Oh, I've done that too!>
<I usually have my hair all tied up, but that can definitely happen after I take a bath or something since I have to let my hair down...>
<Oh...?>
<We also discussed how it takes so much time to dry long hair and whether or not we could make our lives easier by getting it trimmed.>
<But you probably couldn't be bothered to cut your hair, K.>
<Very true...>
<I get what you mean...
But there must be some perks to having long hair, right? Like not having to worry about bedhead.>
<Bedhead?>
<Yeah. When you have hair as short as mine, you end up sleeping on the ends. That causes them to split and get all bent out of shape by the time you wake up.>
<But if you have long hair, you can just tie it up, move it off to the side and not worry about getting bedhead.>
<I see. I've never thought about it that way.>
<Do you even sleep in a bed, K?>
<Y-Yes. Sometimes.>
<Just sometimes, huh...?>
<And even if your hair does get a little messy, you can hide it by cleverly tying it up.>
<True.>
(It's been a while now since we first formed this group, but we haven't actually had many conversations together like this.)
(Mizuki and Ena are usually always talking about something, but Mafuyu didn't use to say much during conversations like the one we had just now.)
(But I've had a chance to get to know everyone better by going to SEKAI, meeting Miku and learning more about Mafuyu's situation...)
(So I feel like we're working much better together now when making videos.)
(To be fair, I knew Mafuyu and the others already before all this happened, but if someone were to ask me about anybody else...)
(I met Ms. Mochizuki through that housekeeping service a little while back...)
(But I initially tried to keep some distance between us as a sort of professional courtesy.)
(Still, I don't think I've spoken like that with anyone since junior high school...)
(Back then, it felt so normal for me and my friends to chat while having lunch together...)
(I'm probably not all that different from Mafuyu. I've lost and forgotten about so many things.)
(However, I'm glad that I've been able to realize that...)
<K, it's time...>
<Oh, right. Thank you, Yuki.>
<Alright, shall we get started?>
Yeah!
Okay...
